Approve once: one-click applications without risking your accounts

JobWin Team · Engineering

Every job seeker has heard the horror story: someone wired up an auto-apply bot, and a week later their LinkedIn account was restricted. The story is usually true — and it’s usually the tool’s architecture, not the automation itself, that deserved the ban.

Why bots get accounts banned

The banned tools share a pattern: they take your credentials and log in as you from a data center. Job boards are extremely good at spotting that — new IP ranges, headless browser fingerprints, inhuman click cadence, activity at 4 a.m. Every one of those signals says “bot with stolen session”, and platforms act accordingly.

The one-browser rule

JobWin never has your job-board credentials and never touches LinkedIn, StepStone or Xing from a server. The extension does its work inside your own browser, in your own logged-in session, on your own IP — because it literally is your browser. Scrolling, reading pauses, field-by-field typing: the pacing is human because the environment is.

Caps you can’t buy your way out of

There’s a hard daily application cap, and paying for Pro doesn’t raise it past the safety ceiling. That’s deliberate: 200 applications a day isn’t a growth feature, it’s an account-loss feature — and it produces worse outcomes anyway. Quality beats raw volume in every dataset we’ve seen.

Where the automation actually is

The automation lives in the filling, not the sending. On ATS platforms — Greenhouse, Lever, Personio, Ashby and friends — an application is a normal form submission on the open web, and automating the form-filling is as safe as any browser autofill. Walled gardens get the same treatment with extra care: JobWin assembles everything in your own session. Hostile portals like Workday get assisted mode. And on every one of them, the final click is yours — one rule decides it all: automate exactly as much as the venue makes safe, and not one click more.

The result is boring in the best way: you approve a job on your dashboard, and moments later — at human pace, from your machine, under your caps — the application is filled, checked, ready to send, and auditable end to end. That’s the whole trick. No stolen sessions required.
